In an electrifying announcement, Linkin Park has introduced Emily Armstrong from the rock band Dead Sara as their new co-vocalist. This revelation came during a live performance event, marking a significant milestone for the band.

New Music and Upcoming Album
Linkin Park has released a new single, The Emptiness Machine, their first new music in seven years. This track leads their upcoming album, From Zero, set to release on November 15 via Warner Records. This album will be their first full-length effort since 2017’s One More Light, which was released two months before the tragic death of lead vocalist Chester Bennington.

Pre-Sale and General Ticket Sales
Pre-sale tickets for the From Zero tour will be available for the LP Underground fan club starting September 6. General ticket sales will start the following day on September 7.
Linkin Park’s Evolution
According to a press release, the band members began meeting up again in recent years. Rather than trying to restart the band, they collaborated with numerous musicians and found a special kinship with Armstrong and Brittain. Mike Shinoda shared insights about this new era:
“Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life.”
The Emptiness Machine
The new single, The Emptiness Machine, channels the DNA of Linkin Park. Shinoda expressed that the band feels empowered with this new lineup, adding that they are weaving together their known sonic touchpoints while exploring new ones.
Previous Releases and Achievements
This announcement follows Linkin Park’s release of Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023) earlier this spring. The 20-song LP features the band’s greatest hits, including:

- Numb/Encore (Jay-Z mash-up)

These tracks helped propel their parent LP, Meteora, back to the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.
